The Bell House, the youngest architectural attraction of Hajdúszoboszló, was built to showcase the Oborzil -heritage, which was donated to the town.
The circular, open pavilion was created to both preserve and present the 50 aluminum bells bequeathed to the town of Hajdúszoboszló that have been placed here. When designing the building, the architect Zoltán Rácz utilised multiple systems of symbolism, since the four pillars of the Bell House represent the four seasons, the four cardinal directions and the starting points of the bell system at the same time.
The bells are unique works of craftmanship, inspired by stone carvings from the XI-XII. century, goldsmithing, gemstone inlays, decorative appliqués from mantles, embroidery and ornamental cord braiding known as passementerie.
